Who Can Use Saxenda®?

✅ Adults:

• Obese individuals with a BMI of 30 kg/m² or greater
• Overweight individuals (BMI of 27 kg/m² or greater) who also have at least one weight-related health condition, such as:
  • High blood pressure (hypertension)
  • Type 2 diabetes
  • High cholesterol (dyslipidemia)

✅ Pediatric Patients (Ages 12-17):

• Body weight above 132 lbs (60 kg)
• BMI corresponding to 30 kg/m² or more for adults, based on international obesity cut-offs

How to Use Saxenda®?

💉 Injection Method:

• Inject Saxenda® subcutaneously (under the skin) in your:
  • Stomach (abdomen)
  • Thigh
  • Upper arm
• Do NOT inject into a vein or muscle.

Before Taking Saxenda®, Inform Your Doctor If You:

Have or had pancreatic, kidney, or liver problems
Experience gastroparesis (slow stomach emptying) or other digestive issues
Have a history of depression or suicidal thoughts
Are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding (Saxenda® may harm an unborn baby)
